Photos of the Week for April 26th to May 2nd

After returning from my cross country tour for a few corporate events I ended up getting back home and going right back into the swing of things. Shot a good bit of sports as well as some other corporate work which included some group shots, corporate headshots, as well as some HS events. It was a wet and dreary few weeks with some rain and some sun but mostly rain. Which in turn led to some really nice photos and some really drab ones as well. Included in this weeks photos are some softball shots, I really enjoy covering softball and baseball as they are close to me, having played baseball pretty much forever. Onto the photos!!!

I always love photographing pitchers, for one they are easy to grab, but the whole motion of the pitch can be very interesting to see.

One issue with covering some HS sports is that the backgrounds are not always the best, so its tough to follow all of the rules of photography. These next 2 images show just that, you have the school in the background and some vehicles as well. We all can’t have great backgrounds to work with all the time and sometimes you can’t photograph another way to work them out of the view.

Hope to have some more sports on the way. Been covering some more corporate work so we shall see!! I can always find time to fit in some sports.
