It was an interesting past week. Was a week of traveling and a little bit of shooting. Monday I shipped off my D700 to Nikon for repair, they had my loaner go out that day as well. Shot the photos of the week Monday night at Shrewsbury High School where they were doing final rehearsal for their musical Anything Goes. It is a whole lot easier to make photos during a rehearsal as I won’t interrupt the audience with my shutter. Otherwise with a big production I would need a sound blimp which is bulky and potentially difficult to use. Anyways Tuesday was a day of travel to just outside of Philadelphia PA, and home late that night to handle some more yearbook photography wednesday morning and early afternoon. Then for the weekend I was back shooting gymnastics. A great week all along, had some fun and little sleep but it was well worth it. On to the photos!!

Yup you aren’t reading the caption wrong, I am stating I played with a Nikon D3s. I borrowed one from a friend of mine as I didn’t have a loaner from Nikon yet. Thanks Chris!! I’d get into details but it would only want me to go out and spend the money on one!! First things first I need to pick up a little more work in order to buy one outright!! Over all a great camera with some great features. Have seen how it looks at really high iso and it puts my D700 to shame in the over 10000 iso area. I did get to test the quiet shutter mode, and while it worked quite well, I wouldn’t rely on it as there are times when it is really quiet like during a soliloquy and the quiet shutter still would be heard, but otherwise when the full action is going on it works quite well.
On to the rest of the photos.

YOUR PICTURES ARE SO GOOD.
YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER!!!!
