Photo of the Week for October 26th to November 1st

It is quite fitting that this weeks photo of the week is from an NCAA football game. I would like to use this weeks post to pay tribute to fallen UConn football player Jasper “Jazz” Howard and the friends,family and fans that will miss him dearly. I was fortunate to cover the Rutgers vs UConn football game in East Hartford this weekend as well as the Central Michigan vs Boston College game as well.

I do have to say the UConn fans, staff, and students did it right. It was very classy and a great game to photograph (even though I missed the best part!!)

31 October 2009: Connecticut’s Kashif Moore (#82) runs in with a #6 Jasper Howard jersey while fans also wear the number 6 during the pre game of the Rutgers vs UConn football game at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT. Rutgers defeated UConn 28-24.

The rest of the game was great as was the Central Michigan vs BC game I covered after leaving at half time and driving 1.5 hours to get there!!

On to the BC game where they beat Central Michigan 31-10.

It was a slow High School photography week but I did pull a few images I really liked, here is one from a HS concert. I just loved how the light fell on the Director when he looked a certain way!
