Photo of the Week for Sept 14th to September 20th
I had a great week of photography and it was really tough to pick just one image out of the crowd! This week I had the opportunity to head up to New Hampshire to cover the first NASCAR Race for the Chase in Loudon New Hampshire at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. I had a blast and was in the mix most of the day. I mostly stayed around the pits and turns 3 and 4 and it was great. Loud noise, fast cars, and just a great time!
On to the Photo of the Week. As stated I had a lot of choices and still am having trouble deciding which one to go with but I like this one!

As I said it was a great experience and I would like to share a few more shots from the race…
I had a lot of access and it helped me to figure out what and where I wanted to shoot. For this shot I was standing in pit row in one of the stalls.

Here I was walking around the garage area and saw a line of cars waiting for inspection.

Another shot while in pit row, I was walking back from Juan Pablo Montoya’s car at the front and saw Tony Stewart “Smoke” talking with some one in which he laughed at a remark!

Got a lot of racing action, but the best stuff seemed to occur in the pits, here is a shot of Martin Truex Jr in the Rain-X #1 car.

And one final shot to finish off the post, one from Victory Lane!
Mark Martin took the Yellow/Checkered Flag after a crash in the final laps. Here Mark Martin receives a Lobster for winning the event.

Looking forward to this week as I will be covering some HS sports as well as the Boston College vs Wake Forest game in Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, MA.
