Photo of the Week for August 17th to August 23rd

Something unusual happened this weekend, I had very little work! Well I did have a few things but not the normal 7am-5pm type of shooting. Now that was just Saturday, with Hurricane Bill approaching New England I wanted to make sure I got the most of the good weekend I had, so I rescheduled a few things into Saturday as Sunday was still up in the air. Well sunday happened to be a great day! I ended up catching up with an old HS football buddy who is into Motocross now. Figuring I didn’t have anything going on Sunday I figured I would see if I could go shoot some motocross (never did before).

Ended up getting into the track and had full track access. I had a blast and came home with a lot of great images that I will be culling and editing for a little while. Anyways on to the POTW!

Now I could have gone with a lower ISO but the clouds were in and out as well I was changing locations where a few were in the shade, wanted to make sure with the quick changes I had a decent enough shutter speed.
