Weekend Soccer

I was informed by a friend that I need more images on this blog so here they are. I shot the Massachusetts District Select tournament Saturday and Sunday. In the end I covered about 45 games. I would have prefered to photograph 1 to 2 games per hour instead of 4-6 but I will take what I get. Enjoy these images!

A little scuffle for the ball. The goalie eventually wins.

A little climbing on the opposing team to head the ball.

Anything goes here in the Districts. So a little facial occurs often as well as pushes and trips. Some times they would get away with it sometimes not.

In hitting the ball it was a legal slide tackle.
