Sorry this posting is a little late, was a very hectic week and weekend. Was a very fun experience though. I covered the 2009 Travelers Championship held at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT. Kenny Perry was the eventual winner with a final score of 22 under par. He bested David Toms and Paul Goydos by 3 strokes.
It was a great weekend with some rain and some sun, but all in all the final day was beautiful and brought on some great action as the drying out of the course made things a little different from the last 3 rounds as well as all the rounds at Bethpage Black in NY, the site of the US Open.

It was a pretty quiet week. Figure I have the Travelers Championship events next week as well as covering the Nextel races up in Loudon, NH. Going to be an interesting week. On to this past weeks photo of the week. Taken while covering a wedding reception that was Hawaiian themed. They had lei’s flown in from Hawaii as well as authentic hula dancers. Here is one of them…

Didn’t have too much going on this week, a little break before the Travelers Championship week. Anyways ended up going out on Friday to try and get some storm shots as Thunderstorms were on the menu for the evening. Well we didn’t quite get them and instead I got some decent sunset shots. Here is multishot panorama shot in NEF.

Photo of the Week for June 1st to June 7th

Finished wrapping up Prom season this week and to commemorate the week I will be posting my last prom shot of the year. Here is a shot of the Crown, Tiara, flowers and some dice and cards from Assabet Valley’s Casino Night themed prom. It was a pretty good prom, the kids had fun.

Other than this prom had a few other events this past week, a Senior Picnic, Senior Awards night, another Prom and Graduation. Photo of the Week for May 25th to May 31st

Had a pretty busy week. Its about to become graduation season! Shot my first grad ceremony on Friday and got some pretty good shots of Judge Judy. Anyways had an even better shot to post this week and of course its another Prom shot but this time a little set shot. Trinity Catholic ended up having the King, Queen and Court items on a table. I shot a few shots then thought of something else. They were giving out a small candle with the theme “Phantom of the Opera” as well as the school name and year. Got one of the candles and came up with this and another shot.

Covered a lot of different events this week, 3 Band/Chorus concerts, an Art Festival, Jr/Sr Prom, Golf Tournament as well as a baseball game. This weeks photo of the week comes from the Worcester North High vs Doherty High School baseball game. The 2nd baseman pulling a “Jeter.” Not quite as successful as the Yankee shortstop though.

Its that time of year, Prom Season! Was a busy week with some T&I days on Monday and Tuesday, traveling Tuesday night for a corporate shoot in NYC Wednesday and Thursday, then back to MA for a prom, then a Little league T&I followed by a Prom on Saturday.
Here is a shot from the Tahanto Junior/Senior Prom held at the Courtyard by Marriott, Fitchburg, MA. It is of the Junior Class Court, a little fun shot after the formal group shot.
